qathet Coalition to End Homelessness

About Us

The qathet Coalition to End Homelessness is a volunteer-run grassroots coalition comprised of community members in the qathet region.

The goal is to unite community members in our region—including those with lived and living experience of homelessness—in a collaborative effort to prevent and end homelessness. qCEH is dedicated to fostering dignity, equity, and opportunity for all by addressing the root causes of homelessness through advocacy, support, and innovative, community-driven solutions, as well as supporting community-based action and mutual aid responses to the housing and homelessness crisis.

Current Campaigns

Meal Train

We are organizing a meal train to provide warm meals to people in need. Volunteers can sign up to deliver meals and support our neighbors.

Laundry Fund

This fund helps cover the cost of laundry for folks without access to clean clothes. Every small donation makes a big difference.

Garbage Removal Fund

We are launching a new fund to support the cost of garbage removal in areas without access to regular sanitation.

Porta-Potty Fund

We currently have two months of portable toilet access funded. Help us extend this essential service for dignity and health.

Past Action: Warming Centre (February 2025)

During a cold snap in February 2025, qCEH set up a GoFundMe campaign with a goal of raising $1,500. The community came together and donated $2,145 in just 48 hours! These funds went directly to support people with lived/living experience of homelessness through gift cards, supplies, and cash honorariums.
